HEALTHY AGING: Tips for Your Body and Brain

A reading program for children from birth to age 5.
Simple fact: If you read only one book at bedtime every night for three years, you will have read 1,095 books! If you read three books a day or any family member who is reading to baby/child it will total 1,095 books in ONLY one year.
This new program will begin on Monday, March 14, 2016. Reading prize incentives throughout the program and book of your choice (of up to $15.00 value) for your child’s home library collection upon completion. Join now it’s never too late to start!

Come spend time with Maci our lovable labradoodle! Children may sit quietly with Maci and read a short story or caregiver may read the book. Share the love of reading.
LITTLE BOOKWORMS: Children ages 2-3 meet Monday at 10:30 am for stories, songs and craft with Miss Donna and Miss Denise.
MOTHER GOOSE TIME: Caretaker and baby ages 6 months – 24 months meet on Tuesday at 11:00am for NEW sensory play, rhymes, songs & finger puppets followed by free play.
PRE-K CRAFTY KIDS: Ages 3, 4, & 5 meet on Wednesdays at 10:30 am story, songs and a craft.
ALL NEW THIS FALL 2016!
BOOK NINJA’S: Wednesday at 3:45pm-4:15pm. Ages 5-8.
As of January 1, 2015, BCCLS will no longer be participating in the open borrowing program.
What does that mean for you?
If you have a library card from Pals Plus Library, you will no longer have borrowing privileges at BCCLS libraries through the open borrowing program.
You will, however, still have borrowing privileges at other Open Borrowing partner libraries:
Pals Plus, the consortium of Passaic County Libraries
Main, the consortium of Morris County Libraries
LMxAC, the consortium of Middlesex County Libraries
Sussex County Library
Warren County Library
Sparta Public Library
Hackettstown Public Library
If you are a BCCLS cardholder, you will no longer have borrowing privileges at Pals Plus through the Open Borrowing program.
BCCLS cardholders who work in Passaic County may be eligible for courtesy cards. Please ask at the Passiac County library where you work.
